Pilot Food Systems Microgrants Program
The Prairie Food System Vision Network (PFSVN) has launched an initiative to provide grants of up to $10,000 to groups and individuals proposing innovative projects that contribute to the transformation of the food system in Canada’s prairie region.
Grants will support a range of small grassroots solutions contributing to health, justice, sustainability, and food sovereignty.
PFSVN is seeking grant proposals that help the network realize our vision and support the following objectives:
Provide primary and/or supplementary funding of up to $10,000 to groups or individuals to facilitate the advancement of projects in the domain of, but not exclusive to, food security, food sovereignty, agroecology, environmental sustainability, community development, capacity building, and employment.
Funding projects or organizations that have been challenged by constraints associated with conventional grant approval processes.
Project results create valuable information to be disseminated and shared through our communication channels for educational purposes and real time reference for interested individuals or groups to better understand our vision and share in it.
